Dear Neighborhood Leaders,
Our latest Northeast Neighborhood Alliance meeting
was a great success for everyone involved. We had an overwhelming
turnout of members and outstanding briefings on a wide variety of
topics.
A big thank you goes to State Representative Steve
Allison on his extensive report on this year’s Texas Legislative
session; Aviation Director Russ Handy on the San Antonio
Airport’s Strategic Development Plan; Vinsen Faris on the Meals
On Wheels Program; and Alex Kapoor for his Eagle Scout Service
Project known as the Roy Maas Youth Alternatives Good Start
Drive.
Also, we need to recognize Councilman Clayton
Perry for giving us an update on a number of issues, including
the latest City budget vote.
