San Antonio Water System (SAWS) has announced, effective
immediately, Stage One watering restrictions. This means you may utilize
your sprinkler system once a week, between 7AM and 11 AM and after 7PM on your
designated watering day as follows: Monday - addresses ending in 0 or
1; Tuesday - addresses ending in 2 or 3; Wednesday - addresses ending in
4 or 5; Thursday - addresses ending in 6 or 7 and Friday - addresses ending in
8 or 9. Hand-held watering is allowed at any time.
As in the past, we would anticipate there will be "water
police" issuing citations for those who fail to abide by the rules and if
you see someone watering when they should not be, let SAWS know. Be a
good neighbor and follow the rules. It's the right thing to do!
