If you like fruit, here is an opportunity to get a fruit tree free:

Once again the Alamo Forest Partnership and San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department have teamed up to offer one free five-gallon tree per household Saturday, Jan. 27, during the annual event at The Pearl, 732 Avenue A (in the parking lot).

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and will last until all trees are gone.
