Homeowner's Association Symposium


Back by popular demand - the department of Neighborhood and Housing Services invites residents of mandatory HOAs to an informative presentation regarding the powers of HOAs and the rights of homeowners.

Featured presentations include Real Estate Attorney Chris Weber, who will present on the powers of HOA's in Texas from a legal perspective. A representative from the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center will also present resources available to resolve internal conflicts.

This free event will be held Saturday, March 16th at the Urban Ecology Center in Phil Hardberger Park. Parking is free. RSVP TODAY! Seating is limited and the event is expected to reach capacity, so advance registration is required. Register through Eventbrite: www.mar16hoa.eventbrite.com


Mayor and City Council Candidates Announced

Candidates have officially filed for a place on the May 4, 2019 General Election Ballot. Now it's time for you to start looking at the list to figure out who you will vote to be the representative voice for your neighborhood!

NEW Parks Coming Soon!
The community spoke up and we listened! You want more parks equipped with the features you need to live an active lifestyle with your friends, family, and pets!

You can look forward to Maverick Park adding an off-leash dog park featuring areas for both big and small. Designs have been approved and this project is set to be completed by early 2020.

Additionally, the City has accepted a land donation from Timber Ridge Community Association  to renovate 3103 Rim Rock Trail into a new park for the community to enjoy. Demolition began in February - now both the Parks Department and District 6 council office will be working closely to gather input from the community to see what features they want to shape this new park.


 11th Annual City Manager's 5K Walk & Run
